The Flame had obvious Gibson influences and was an attempt to capture some of Gibson's share of the market. The Flame had two Schaller humbuckers, a set neck, six-a-side tuners and a Tune-o-matic style bridge. The double cut-away alder body had a slightly carved top. It was bound around the body, neck and headstock.
