1984 Squier Stratocaster black

Very Good condition, 7/10, Made in Japan, July 1984 according to the serial, including gigbag, JV-series, birds eye maple neck, slab rosewood fingerboard, black finish with yellowed plastic parts, tiny piece of the lower headstock has been reglued after hitting a nail, has been refretted, the original tremolo and pickups are in the bag, and currently has Fender Texas Specials. It's a JV Squier that has a 5 way pickup selector (some have 3 way). These changed to 5 way in mid 1983. Although the SST-30 was the lower level model of Squier and as such, had lower grade tuners & pickups the important neck is the same as other JV's including export models. The original pickups on these were SQ-3 with ceramic magnets.
