Good condition, 6,5/10, Made in Japan, lots of wear from playing and a large finish chip on the body edge, including oversize acoustic hardcase, maple neck with black dots, HSH pickup configuration with a V8 in the bridge, S1 in the middle and V7 in the neck position, mirror pickguard, black hardware, deep cutaway, more info: The RG550DX is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1992. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen. The RG550DX features a basswood body bolted to a maple Wizard neck with a 24-fret maple fingerboard with black dot inlays. Components included Ibanez pickups mounted in a color-matched mirrored pickguard with V7/V8 humbuckers flanking an S1 single-coil, a Lo-Pro Edge double locking tremolo bridge, and Gotoh tuning machines. The RG550DX was discontinued after 1993 when it was essentially replaced by the RG550LTD.
