Excellent condition, 8/10, weight is 4,57kg, Made in San Luis Obispo, California, USA, including original hardcase, some fret wear, all original electronics, has a sticker on one of the pots 6-15-88, according to the serial this bass was built June/July of 1988, stamped in the neck pocket REDFE so Fire Engine Red and April 26 1988, stampled on the maple neck Jun 1 1988, black pickguard, 4 knobs, 3-way switch, a few dents in the finish but very clean, more info: Fire Engine Red (stamp REDFE) was a (short-lived) production colour in the late eighties. It's listed in the 1988 catalogue and also in the spring 1989 edition but by the summer 1989 edition it's gone. Pretty rare. Founded by Tom Walker, Leo Fender and Forest White in 1972, the Music Man company was eventually bought by Ernie Ball in 1984.
